The DVD-1800BD features a unique drive mechanism to further protect the internal disc space from magnetic influences, dust and external noise by adding a steel housing to the bottom and top of the unit to create an ideal playback environment inside the player.
Multi-Disc Compatible
The Denon DVD-1800BD supports the following disc formats: BD-ROM (BD-Video) BD-R (ver.1.1), BD-RE (ver.2.1), DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW (VR mode supported), DVD-R DL , CD, CD-R/RW, and Kodak Picture CD. This unit will automatically detect what type of disc you have loaded.
